The core component of the GD-ROM Drive is a OTI-9220 (Standard CD-ROM Controller chip by Oak Tech). No wonder, the GD-ROM is actually an minor modified CD-ROM Drive. One thing can be sure, DC connect GD-ROM Drive using standard IDE interface (cos the chip was designed to). Anyone got more information of the OTI-9220 ? I'm going to build an adaptor to connect my PC witht the GD-ROM Drive.
